Shred More Often: Brisbane In September

Sunday morning, we get up bright and early at 5am
catch a cab to our flight with Virgin.

It was wet and cold when we left.

Checking in

(it wasnt, it was cornwalls)

We were glad to be leaving crappy weather behind.

2hrs later.

As we got into Central station the first thing we saw were two
teenage girls in there paul frank pj's.
I wish i got a photo!! But I was happy with giving them shit, they were sooo embarrassed. haha

If you ever thought why this world is so crap at times, this book has all the answers!!!

We went to Skatebiz and we meet a rad dude called Alex, he let us drop our bags off so we could skate the city until Tim Regard came into met us.

I was skating flat ground by myself when we meet up with Dawsy, Laykin and Tim.

We dropped Laykin off at his cousins party at the top of a hill. There were about 15 Harleys out the front and all these gnarly looking men and women drinking booze at 5 in the arvo.
Don't mess with Laykin, as I see he is heavily connected.

Cornwall had to sleep on a blow up mattress

Monday, I woke up at 7:30am - bright and early. We said by to Tim, he works full-time so we didnt skate with him during the day.

I was ready to go at 8:50am
but I had to hassle Cornwall so much just to get ready.
He was whinging about how he doesnt skate til 12 in Melbourne etc,
blah blah fucking blah!
I do recall we are in Brisbane to skate?? Right? NOOO, not to cornwall.
So I eventually dragged him out, so we made our way to the nearest train station.

Timmy's House

Train ticket - you have to pay for each stop just like Sydney. It sucks.

We meet up with Dawsy at skatebiz and warmed up at Footbridge.
He got a sweet line line in the hot heat.
It was an amazing 26 degrees and blue skies!! Awwww!

Dawsy's car is old and needs to be cared for like a grandpa with a weak bow. lol

Next we went to SunCorp Stadium, the most amazing ledges ever;
where we meet up with Rome and Jimmy Rouche.
Dawsy and me both got our lines.

More car trouble

We went to Cooparoo skate park, at the time
I had THE worst headache in my whole life.
I could skate, I couldn't do anything! It was the worst!

That night we went to the local R.S.L
and got a cheap feed! We came back here every night we were up.

Tuesday

We meet up with Alex from skatebiz, Joel and a few others at Cooparoo skate park.
We filmed a few things for a clip and made our way to a Subway that is also a convience store!!
How good is that!

Then onto SunCorp, so good. Alex got a line.
The we went to checkout Fairfields new extention.

I remebered that there was this sweet place across the
road that sold good milkshakes so I bailed there.
Milkshake, hotdog and dougnut for $3.50
amazing!

We then proceed to Capalaba Plaza!!!!
Pedro and Nathan Jackson were there so I was happy to see them again,
Pedro just got backform the U.S he was loving it.

Did I forget to mention that Cornwall sleep at any chance he got!

i.e
So he didn't want to buy breakfast to eat at home in the morning, so he would wake up, get on the train fall back to sleep and not skate til lunch because he had no energy. So we didn't end up going any where until he ate.

Then when we get something to eat, we would go some where to skate,
but he would sit down and fall asleep in 5mins because he couldn't handle the heat and had to digest his lunch.

This happened every single day!
So we didnt get to go anywhere much at all, plus he didnt want to too let alone;
film aswell because of it.

On the way back home

I got a hole in my foot, i was soo sore!

We went to Chileys Indoor skate park and had some fun!

Wednesday

Having no energy, I had to beat Cornwall in Paper, Rock, Sissors to get
him to go to this spot before we got to the city,
He hated it and didnt let me skate it for long before he started whinging
about being hungry and tired!

Wall ride fakie.

We met up with NZ homie Demetri and went to this drained pool.
Cornwall was filming Demetri and I, but as soon as he got the trick Cornwall stopped filming me and wanted to go, didn't even ask me.

By this time along with everything else that Cornwall did to annoy me or say, my patience had worn so thin. I could of cracked him one.

We said bye to those guys and I had to conveince Cornwall for an hour to film me, who does that anyway or is soo stuborn??

A hour or so later we got to the spot.
And what do you know?? He falls asleep for about 40mins,
I was skating, glad to be alone for a bit.
Then I had the task if bugging him to film for about 10mins,
got the line, but not the one I wanted.

Then something happened; I took out my frustration from Cornwall that had been building up and had a stress sess.

Timmy wanted to shoot a photo of a trick I did last time I was up, at the school there was this sign out the front! HAHA
What a joke, soon there will be a million cotton ball kids to afraid to do anything.

Timmy got film for his credit card size polaroid camera.

Thursday

We woke up to the pouring rain! It didnt stop all day, and it had to be the day I ran out of breakfast didnt it!!
Timmy has the box set of Seinfeld (all nine seasons!)
We watched two seansons and by 2pm with no food in the house
we waited for the rain to ease so I rode Chips bike and
Cornwall rode Timmys fixx to the nearest supermarket.

Food at last. i had to ride back with all this on my handle bars, Cornwall didnt help me out either.
So under the strain the bag broke with my beer in it while going down the hill in the rain, I somehow saved it so I was a happy man.
